Commissions
Please send me an email at cheryldunnresinart@hotmail.com with details of what you would like me to create for you. If you can include details such as size, colours, and possibly any picture references, then this would be helpful. I will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.
Resin
I decorate the rustic, artisan boards using epoxy resin which is non-toxic and certified as food safe. I only use high quality resin and high grade raw materials which are tested for purity.
The resin I use is food safe, non-toxic and non-hazardous and is therefore an excellent medium to use for the artwork on the artisan chopping boards.
Resin is also waterproof and extremely hard once dry.

Olive and Mango Wood
The olive and mango wood boards I use are responsibly sourced from Tunisia, where the trees are protected by government regulations. Only very old trees that no longer bear fruit can be cut down, and harvested trees must be replaced. This makes olive and mango wood a sustainable and ethical material to work with.
Hard wearing and practical, with natural antibacterial properties, each artisan board is perfect for cutting and preparing food, and stylish enough to leave out when not in use. Each board has its own unique grain pattern and natural edge, making it an attractive addition to any kitchen.
Just like the fingerprints on our hands, no two trees are identical. Therefore, the grain pattern, colour and shape of each artisan board will vary. Each board is completely unique and individual in beauty.
How to Care for your Artisan Board
* Epoxy resin is extremely durable but not scratch safe so best to chop only on the wooded section.
* Hand-wash in warm soapy water or just wipe clean.
* Do not leave soaking in water and ensure product is dry before storing.
* To keep your product in the best possible condition, treat the wood occasionally with food grade vegetable oil.
* Not dishwasher safe - wipe with a damp cloth after use. Do not leave your board standing in water and do not cut on the resin.
